Scheme Overview
Tipperary County Council has appointed GLAS Civil Engineering Limited to carry out a road pavement rehabilitation scheme which also incorporates safety improvement measures.
This scheme is approximately 1250m in length and extends along the N74 through Fr Mathew Street in Tipperary Town. It commences at the Bansha roundabout, including a short section of the N24, and terminates in the vicinity of the 60kph Speed Limit at the eastern side of the town.

Reminder of upcoming Road Closure
Motorists are reminded that between the dates of the 13th and 24th of January 2025 James Connolly Park Road will be closed on a full time 24/7 basis such that there is no access to/from Fr Mathew Street. There will be a signed temporary diversion route in place for all vehicles. This closure is to allow the re-construction of this junction with the Contractor working longer site hours to achieve this tight deadline. We apologies for any inconvenience caused.
